Default My friends PC simply won't start-up, help :)

My friend was playing Warcraft 3, and his Computer just turned off for no reason.

Since then, he's tried turning it on multiple times, it turns on, fans start and everything but his monitor can't find signal (new fault too) so he's not sure where it gets to before it turns off.

He says, that when he leaves it for a while it sometimes loads to Desktop, but soon after goes blank. Then if he tries it quite often, it seems to last a shorter amount of time before it shuts down.

If you can think of anything that might be causing this, please post

Thanks, Daz.

Did he build the computer himself and/or do any wiring inside his computer?

I've had this problem and I found out that it was dodgy wiring shorting my computer which turned my computer off.

Can he load into BIOS to check his temperatures?

1) Check temps
2) Post PSU specs and desktop specs
