there are differen't IDE ports for CD Drives and the HD's make sure you put the devices on the right ports...THEN. get a windows xp install disk... and boot that up....should be self explanatory from there on.

it doesn't matter what IDE port the hard drive or the CD drive is... just you have to have the boot setup right!

when you insert the xp cd you should be able to see "press any key to boot from cd" if you don't..then something is wrong from that point.

(make sure you can boot from cd)
(are you still not able to access bios?)

if you see that message then just follow instructions from then on.

i can be able to go to the BIOS, but the boot cd menu doesnt show.
