Default Can I mix these two RAM?

1.) G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Yeah, you can mix those modules -- seeing as how they have similar specs. I have a 1x1 (PNY) and 2x512 (stock) in my comp and haven't experienced any problems. I have had those modules on two different mobos, and each one for about five months.

However, you have sparked someting... Is it possible to mix DDR2 & DDR3? I would doubt it, but that is purely speculation.

No. It's just like older boards that supported 2 specs of RAM. You can only use 1 at a time.

and arent ddr3 slots different? like the EP35 from gigabyte has four ddr2 slots and then ddr3 slots.

Yeah, you can't put DDR3 RAM inside a DDR2 slot because both of them are not the same.

With motherboard like P35C that includes DDR2 and DDR3, you still need to remove DDR2 RAM before you can use the DDR3 and vice-versa.
