Hello! Just want to take a few mins of your precious time & hopw that you will be helpful to me. I bought a Laptop for my father From London England. It is Samsung made & model Number is R20 With
Intel Celeron (M)
430 @ 1.73 GHz
Memoroy 512 Ram
80 GB
32-Bit operating .
& Windows Vista Home Basic was installed at its purchase.

Now The problems he (my Father) is facing
1 :System is very slow it take at least 15 mins for it to be ready for oprating while he is business man & have to do too much in very limited time on laptop he says he is fed up .What can I do ?

2 :If I remove that Vista & install Xp service Pack 2 on it will it work Fine then?

3: Why is computer rating itself 2.0? What should be the rating of good laptop?

4: If I uninstall Vista & do Xp on it& after some time I want Vista back would I be able to do it? Yes I was give the cd of vista on which it is written SYSTEM RECOVERY MEDIA WINDOWS VISTA HOME BASIC FOR DISTRIBUTION WITH NEW SAMSUNG PC.DO u think if I want all things back I can do that with cd given?

5 :the Ram is shown of the box that it is 512 but on the properties it show that 448 is there?

6 :I have has drive & I want to dived the partion into 4 as they only two what software should I use? If I remove the windows Vista would I loss my data on the other drive?

7: Now I have other DVD in my hand also Samsung Pc Rom, .If I install xp woulf my computer will be able find Sound, Modrem & Video driver it self?, Or the cd says driver of sound etc it have no specification for which windows it is for but it says Only for Samsung PC.Do u think that would that install drivers if computer couldt find them.

8 :Why windows vista don’t accept programs designed for xp as xp do which were for Windows 98 I heard that you can make xp programs too run on vista. HOW?

9 :The last thing I what to know Why battery life so less? I only last 1.5 hrs? Yes when I bought the laptop my dad didt give it 24 hrs charge but only 4 hrs would this be the reason for that the battery is less efficient? Yes my friend have the same made (Samsung) While his battery timing are superb as you Evan work ion it for at least 5 hr s even watch a whole movie.
