Default HIGH perf. computer fan # question

Hey, all. First of all, I want to thank all of you for your help. I have a quick question about FANS.

OK, DO I NEED a CPU fan like a Zalman 9700 or a Rosewill RCX-Z5 for my Q6600 if I am going to have like NINE 120mm fans in my computer?

I will have 2 8800GTS 512MB (G92) KO in SLI, 8GB OCZ, a Q6600, 780i motherboard, and this case... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119145

So things will be hot, but I am just wondering if they will be too hot for nine fans to not do the job.

PS I can afford all of this because Newegg has a good deal to look in to... "No payments for 12 months"

AND PLEASE ANSWER MY SECOND QUESTION:

Say I could install only a couple extra 120mm's and ended up with six 120mm's and one 80mm, would that still be enough?

If you plan on overclocking you may need it. If running stock speeds the factory one will be fine. Using 9 fans IMO is total overkill, 3-4 should be sufficient.

Well, turning all of them on 5volt should make stuff very silent so that depends on what you do with them. But running them at maximum speed is kind of useless (and loud as well).

If you want to overclock you can buy for instance the Scythe Orochi which is meant for passive cooling so if you're airflow is huge then this will be great for silence. (Also for those 8800GT's you might want to take Accelero S1 Rev2 VGA coolers because they're great passive coolers as well and they are great when the airflow is huge as well.)

One side, one rear, one front. That's all you really need.
