Having trouble installing XP on an old HP pavilion 6643. It's a pretty ancient computer and it had windows 98 on it before. The hard drive is completely formatted but for some reason it won't load the XP CD from the drive even when the CD-Rom drive is defaulted to the first boot device. I tried switching IDE cables, IDE slots and even another CD-rom drive but it just says "no operating system installed" and doesn't even try to boot from the CD.

Jumpers set up correctly? CD is not scratched/bad?
