Default B-day upgrade

Well its getting close to my b-day and since i fried my 250gb hdd (ya im an idiot) i'm getting a 500gb hdd, cod4 and well my question is, would it be worth it to upgrade to 3 gb of ram if im going to be playing cod4? (currently at 2gb)

an no it is not realy worth upgrading to 3G if you are on XP but if u are using vista deffently upgrade the ram

If you use Vista then you will want the memory, COD4 uses nearly half a GB on occasion on this system.

32mb over 16mb really that big of a difference in hdds? I've went from a 5400rpm notebook drive to a 3gb/s 80gb 7200rpm desktop drive and i really don't notice a whole lot of difference.

You don't even really use that much cache. Manufacturers just put it there to make you buy it. After all, most people think "the more the faster"...
