Red face Old booting time: 2m/ new booting time: 7 minutes (when i'm lucky)

When i first built the computer, the booting was amazingly quick and stuff. Now...it's embarisingly slow. i run regular AV scans, i don't download stuff alot, and i defrag once a week.

When my baby was first born this screen would only be there for 6 seconds on average.

Now its there for atleast a minute, then this screen takes another minute to get by when it only took 25 seconds back then:

Then before loading the desktop it took only...around a minute to a minute and 1/2 and now it takes at least 2 - 3 minutes without the AVG update thing going on.

I have run regular scans and stuff, as already mentioned and i have went into the msconfig startup stuff and i'm starting up with the bare minimum.

I'll post up a hijack this log right away in a reply.

Thnx alot guys.

http://www.ccleaner.com - download and run a full clean on files and on the the registry, then try a defragment. That should speed it up.

Windows bogs down over time (I've already noticed a bit of a lag on my recent reinstall of a month ago) and it is good to do a full reinstall every once and a while.
