Exclamation !!!! Vista problem - Urgent Help !!!!!

Hi all,

This is for the vista guys!!!!

My grandparents friend bought a laptop about 2 weeks ago and she wants it on the net now she is organizing a ISP (bigpond to be exact) and i said to her that i will do updates and get it ready for her as she doesn't know a lot about computers. So i have done all the updates and put virus software on it and a few other things. Now there is a language issue.

Whenever i hit shift + 2 is gives me " whenever i do shift + 3 it gives me *pound dollar sign*.

Now i don't know how to change the language i have put it on US and it still does it..... pls help

Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Keyboards and Languages > Change Keyboards. From here select the right type of keyboard.
