I am trying to self teach... myself... Dreamweaver 8 and am in need of some good tutorials. I checked out youtube and what not and some were good but are not really doing what I would like to do. I also have a few questions other than where to find good online tutorials. Oh, also some good fireworks 8 and Photoshop 7.0 tutorials.

1. How do I put text over an image as a button so I don't have to change the image evertime I want to change the text?
2. How do I keep any single or multiple cells in a table stationary when enlargin, moving, or shrinking a cell next to it in the same row. I have been editing things and it creates an unbalanced uneveness that screws with the design.
3. How do I force a table to a specific location? Left side, right side, center, above something, below something, attached to an image or have an image in the background of a table only and have text over it, kind of like question one.
4. How do I do a transparent fade gradient in Fireworks 8? I know it is easier to do in Photoshop but I don't have the program right now and need to get some asignments done before I get the program.
5. How do I make an image auto stretch/fill pages so people with different resolution settings don't get a distorted background image?
6. How do I make a background image for a website? I went to page properties and used the background image deal and made it not repeat and messed with the settings but it still would not work. Is there something specific I have to do? The image was .jpg so do I need to convert it?
7. How do I make thumbnail images pop up when moused over rather then opening a new window? Can you set a timed delay for how long the mouse must hover over the image before it pops up?
8. How do you decorate the table boarders?
9. How can I have an auto update code that changes without me manually changing it evertime it is updated?

Anything else and I will update this thread as I go. I am just starting out and have done some things from a class already but now I am trying to teach myself before next semester starts because my school doesn't really do much.

K got an update. For the most part I figured out question one. However, now I need to know how to make that text clickable. Doesn't seem to be working with my link deal... Any suggestions?
