There is a strange problem about my "dell 24 inch E248WFP Entry Widescreen Digital Flat Panel Monitor" (computer is Dell Inspiron 530 desktop).
here it is: I usually turn on my computer in following sequence: step 1: turn power on for E248WFP monitor step 2: turn power on for computer However, what I noticed is that: the time between step 1 and step 2 can not be too long, i.e., I have to turn power on for computer IMMEDIATELY after the monitor is turned on (whithin 2-3 seconds), otherwise, if I waited too long to do step 2 (after step 1 is done), the monitor will go off (that is, the monitor power light will turn green into yellow), and nothing will appear on the screen even if after the computer power is turned on. After that, the only way I know to make monitor work is to turn it off first, and then turn it on again. Is this normal? The computer and monitor is DVI linked. |
