I wanna make videos without a camera and put them on you tube. I downloaded hypercam. Could someone help me figure out how I put videos on you tube by taping what is on my screen.

a DIY movie is a film that i put up on sites like youtube to teach other fellow computer users how to do something.
for example, if u wanted to show other people on how to download torrent files. you weould put a vid of that up on youtube.

If you're trying to record a game or movie or something, you could use fraps (www.fraps.com) for free.

Were all confused as to what exactly you are trying to do, you can't use a computer program to actually videotape something happening, if thats what you are trying to do.

Here's what you do lordlactose:

1. Record your screen using whatever program you have. If you don't know how to use it, read the ReadMe or something.
2. After you record it, it should ask you where you want to save the video file.
3. Upload the file to YouTube
4. Enjoy

Hypercam? F2 to record. F3 to pause/unpause.

Horrible at 3D. 2D stuff, great. 3D + Games = FRAPS.
