Default Hot or not and Underclocked!!

Right some issues!

heres the system

Asus P5k3 Deluxe
Quad core Q6600 2.4mhz
4gb Corsair DDR3 1333mhz

first am i hot or not!! or course im reffering to my cpu temps!

Processor Temperature : 33 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 1) : 48 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 2) : 46 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 3) : 42 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 4) : 45 °C
Mainboard Temperature : 37 °C

Next ....i seem to be seriously underclocked....i aint done no twiddelin myself and how and what chall i do to rectify.

In pc wizard sometimes it shows the processor running at 1600 Mhz (why)?
some times all cores sometimes none sometimes a few!

Frequency Control :
Core #1 : 1600.07 MHz
Core #2 : 1600.16 MHz
Core #3 : 1600.28 MHz
Core #4 : 1600.13 MHz

also i think tho im not sure...but my memory seems to be running at 533mhz instead of 1333

now im pretty sure ive read or sunderstood some of these figures wrong but any help would be much appreciated...

any initial overclocking and gettin my system set up all nice tips would be top!

ta for now!

Thanx

Your system is underclocking itself to save power and produce less heat. It'll automatically go back up to full speed once you need the power.

I'd say your temps are a little high, but okay. As far as the clock goes, amd and intel started doing that a while back, my 4200+ underclocks to like 600mhz when it's not doing anything. It's perfectly normal.
