Default Hyper Transports

If i put a 1600mts amd processor on a 2000mts mobo, will i see an increase in performance?

The computer kinda goes with the slowest I pressume, I doubt it that you will see a difference.

ok, just wanted to know if there was an advantage if i get the faster a more expensive mobo. thanks.

True. Even if OP could magically change his chip to use and accommodate a 1000mhz HT itself, he wouldn't see a difference. That's the way the hyper transport bus works, verily.

Yeah I really have limited knowledge on that stuff seeing it's AMD. But as far as that I did go
