Default Mozilla Firefox freeze up still running?

Hey all, I have a question.

While your surfing the web on mozilla firefox and it freezes up and you close the tab, do you ever get an error saying it's already running when you already x'd it out?

Usually it allow me to restart or restore firefox, in this case it said It was already running when I x'd it out.

Thank you

How will uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox help in this instance?

mkjaekmi: if there's no Firefox in your Processes in Task Manager, then you'll need to reboot. That's the only way I've been able to relaunch Firefox when this happens.
