Exclamation XP SP3 delayed due to glitch.

Just read a story on the internet that they delayed the release of the SP3 for XP due to a glitch in the update.

No, it works great, I have installed it on about half a dozen machines in the past 2 weeks and they all have seen increases in performance.

1. I'd heard it was supposed to be about 590MB, not just 316MB. Interesting.
2. I've also heard that there are hidden and unwelcome changes to DRM and activation. I hope those rumors are false.
I'll wait for others to be the beta testers on something so big and important.

I've almost NEVER had good luck upgrading an operating system after it's been on a computer for a while. All the additional software and crap tends to interfere with other things causing major problems. Maybe this summer I'll reload my desktop again and upgrade to SP3 right afterwards... But otherwise, I'd rather hold off personally.
