Default Simple question: What will be faster?

So I am writing up a build for a video editing machine to handle to monitors and be very powerful.

Option 1
OCed Q6600 @ 3.6G
Asus P5E X38
4GB DDR2 1200
150GB Raptor
9600GT
Vista Ultimate

Option 2
2 Quad-core Harpertown's 5420's @ 2.5G
Tyan 5400 Dual LGA771
8GB DDR2 667
150GB Raptor
9600GT
Vista Ultimate

Each will be running the most recent version of Pinnacle Studio and I want the video to edit and render/compile as quickly as possible as there is 3+ years worth of it, and much more in the future. OK, so, I want a definitive answer. No "shoulds", "maybes", "coulds", just tell me which option will be faster for this purpose.

Thanks

Option 2 is faster due to the amount of ram plus the processors
the hard drive sizes are identical so I advise to get option 2. good luck

Not necessarily, unless he uses over 4GB of RAM then having 8GB of DDR2 667 would be much slower, as it probably has ECC, which slows down performance even more.

The processors however would be better.
