I am at the end of my tether. For the last week or so my MSN Messenger 8.5 keeps signing out then in again every 3-5 minutes. It also does it when I close down an application I am using E.G Napster, Internet Explorer, Photodeluxe 4 and Outlook Express to name a few. I have contacted my ISP and they claim that my DSL line is perfect and that they are not doing an repairs in the area. This is some of the things I have done to try to fix it-

1) Checked my Zonealarm Firewall, MSN Messenger has full permissions.
2) Modem/Router Firewall is off.
3) Checked for new firmware for the modem but none available.
4) Shutdown and restarted numerous times.
5) Turned off all Firewalls for a few mins to see if it helped but it didnt.
6) Checked AVG Anti Virus was working ok and fully updated. It is.
7) Tried using Firefox instead of IE6 but same problem.
8) Checked IE6 Security, Privacy and Connection settings. All fine.
9) Deleted Temp internet files and cookies

reinstall MSN... make sure you have the latest updates... and does it say anything when it signs out... or it just look and it's signed out....???

I have uninstalled and reinstalled about 6 times and it still does it.

I have all the latest updates.

It does not say anything or give error codes when signing out. It just signs out then straight back in again. I've counted it doing it 20 times an hour!!!!
