Default Turn computer into home theater

Hi,
I have the computer in my sig hooked up to me 19" lcd tv and got the usb asus u300 mini tv tuner. I have xp pro as the os. I want to turn this into a home theater comp where i play my dvds, tv music from. What kind of software would be best to do this.

Don't you already have what you need?

DVD: Windows media player, or other DVD player of your choice.
TV: Whatever software the TV Tuner came with.
Music: WMP or other music player...

Really what you need is to have the right hardware! Did somebody say 7.1 surround sound system?

ok. I'm mainly asking what is the best software for everything. Is they a good one that combines everything like dvd, music, tv or best to get seperate.
