hey i got a dell add today and i believe a similar laptop was in there new for 999 and it was about the same specs i think a 160gb hdd though

$1208 brand new on Dell.com, just figured i would throw that out there

(they dont offer the 5450 anymore so its the 5550)

Ok, let us rethink that statment there a bit...MOST of the active members on the forum ( who would actually respond to the poll) have built their own comps, or have personal favorites such as cyberpowerpc or other stuff. To them, of course Dell wouldn't be as good of a computer to them after putting down the money to build a comp!

Some people have good experiences with dell, some haven't. I know i am only 14 and stuff, but come on now, let's be a bit more serious on these 'serious' threads.

g25, I would really appreciate it if you could keep comments like that to yourself. I've personally never dealt with Dell before I purchased the laptop, and it's a great laptop. Everything runs smoothly and it's pretty sturdy as well.

Anyway, it's still up for $800.
