Default cpu/motherboard compatibility

i want to upgrade to the 45nm quad core processor but my motherboard only supports 800/1066mhz fsb. will this bottleneck the quad core processing? the cpu uses a 1333mhz fsb by default.

Default

Well, they placed a Q9770 on a 1333mhz board and then set the clocks manually (themselves). I am assuming you will be able to do the same.

BUT DO NOTE! I am not sure if your motherboard will work with the Yorkfield Quadcore seeing they don't like many of the "older" motherboards.
