Default repairing vista

ive basically screwed windows everytime i close an application it comes up with eg "microsoft office word has stopped working" so its screwed and it does it on quit a few applications so i want to try and repair windows so i insert the disc in and theres no option to repair windows just one option to install???

After it's booted from the Vista disk the second or third screen should have the repair option in the bottom left saying this "Repair your computer", Select this.

Yeah its on the bottom left corner of the 'Install Now' Window
