Default Using nbtstat + enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP

Hi, everytime I use 'nbtstat' command I get:

"Failed to access NetBT driver -- NetBT may not be loaded"

I have "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" enabled under my advanced TCP/IP settings, and I have File and Printer sharing enabled.

I'm connected through a router and both my Net adapter and Wireless adapter have tcp/ip enabled

under ipconfig/all it says that NetBIOS over tcpip is Disabled. How can I enable this?

Why do you need NetBIOS? Almost everything is over standard TCP/IP these days, are you connecting to an older IPX network or something?
