Default Help.. PC starts but no screen

Hey guys, ask you all some questions...
I have a pc here which the monitor does not shows anything when start up...
The green light of the monitor just keeps blinking...

I have tried the monitor and the graphic card... Both are ok...
One funny thing is sometimes when I just switch on the switch of my computer, the pc fan and power supply will run on it's own without me switching the on button of the pc....

Anyone can help... thanks in advance...

Additional info: It's a dell pc and now the pc gives off 6 beep sound when switched on... And i'm not sure abt the model...

hey mate, check the rams, re-sit them, Dells are g*y if you ask me.
i have 3 optiplex's in my office and 1 of em no matter if the ram is new or not, it beeps its a** off for no apparent reasons.
so check your rams. in most cases rams are the source to a blank screen

yes it is and depending on the age as well..... - if it is new it make need drivers to run.... but it could be the ram.....

Hey guys, thanks for your replies...
The com is old but how old I'm not too sure leh...
I tried removing one of the rams and surprisingly... there's no beep sound anymore... However, the screen still doesn't startup... Monitor still green light blinking... Then when i switch on the switch... the power supply fan and cpu fan automatically on... I tried for another few times and it switches off by itself after a few seconds...
