game pad for cod 4

next week i will be purchasing cod 4...

i've played the demo and i dont like using the keyboard and mouse together, it doesnt feel right.

i think they keys on my keyboard are just too close together for gameplay.

i would like to use something else!!

could you tell me what you use and post a picture for me>?

i know ebay have a few playstation looking controlers on there but there 99pence + postage so i think they might just be to cheap and rubish

Your going to be a grave disadvantage using a controller due to the increased time it takes to aim compared to the mouse. hy not try finding a different keyboard?

problem is ive gettin a nice aluminium wireless mouse and key board not long ago... ive tried an old keyboard its just the same!

ive never like playing using key board!!

i think it is possible using your thumb to use the stick and your nearest finger for the directional buttons?

its just the same as playstation controler and my friend has no problem!! is there any other alternative to using a keyboard and mouse?

The problem that I see is when you play on the playstation version, EVERYONE is using the controller so your on an equal playing field. If your playing versus someone on pc with a controller, you will be at a great disadvantage since the mouse is such a quick and more accurate method of aiming. I dont think you really have any alternatives to not using the keyboard and mouse.

i've bought it anyway, was only cheap just to try out!!

unfortunatly if i dont like using keyboard/mouse and game pad i will not purchase the game....

hardly game anyway so im not really gonna be upset or bothered, would be good if i can use the control pad and be good at it but its not a majour problem!

Yep ukulele is right, Mouse and keyboard is supermega killah machine! lawl.

Trust me, playing any game on a console interface versus a pc, or someone with console using mouse and keyboard, your garruntied the mouse and keyboard is going to pwn.

Ergonomics eh? What can you do.

Who knows if you set the joystick speed WAY up you might be able to pull it off. If it was a cheap purchase whose to say your wrong? Good luck!

You would have to be really good.

And you would always be at disadvantage.
