Default HD Video Card

i was wondering if the HD cards r any good and wuts a good one thats fairly cheap?

I'd say either wait for the 4800 series or go Nvidia. Right now Nvidia's are much better performing for the money. I.E. an 8800GT for almost the same price:

ok i think im gunna get a HD card and i seen that the 4800 series are coming out at the end of the month and i was j/w if anybody would know the price range of them cards?

i think the 4870 is going to be $350 - $400 an about 25% better than the 9800GX2

do you game? if you are just going to be viewing HD content, and not gaming, then then nvidia 8500GT is a great card.
