Default Bf2 Failed?

Im trying to re-install BF2 i have had it installed on this computer before but i had uninstalled it for some reason and now when i try n re-install it at about less the a 1/4 of the bar it says BF2 failed start from the beggining but i do that and it says it again i have tried at least 5 times now and still the same message. Any ideas?

does it say anything other then "failed"? try makin a disc image, and installing it... or borrow it from a friend whos got it.
