Default Help with install problem

I just formatted my hd for a clean install and everything went fine. Now its time to install win98se and i keep getting a "invalid system disk" insert and retry notice when i put in the boot up floppy and restart. no prompts here. How do i get around this so i can start installing the os? Thanks.

In order to install 98, you need to boot with the boot floppy and select CD-RAM enabled. then, when it gets to A:\ then you direct it to your CD-ROM drive and type "INSTALL".

Are you sure it's booting to the floppy?

Try downloading my Windows 98 Boot Floppy.

Default Boot

I found a program at majorgeek.com "ultimate boot cd" and maybe that will bet me going. supposed to do the same thing a floppy does but on cd instead.

I don't know. Feel free to try it. there's no harm in trying it.
