I believe that this is the right place for my question
Well, I have a Lenovo laptop 3000 N100. When my warranty has finished (after a year) I faced a problem. After I downloaded some Windows updates and my laptop was restarted, to mention that I was working on it after it restarted for a couple of hours, the screen was black. The laptop was working but I was seeing nothing on the screen. I restarted it and still nothing. I, then connected my laptop to an external screen and it was working properly. I took my laptop to a technician of IBM and said me that the screen was dead and that the only solution not to spend such a lot money for buying a new screen is to work on an external one. And so done. But, after some months working like that i've done some updates again and when my laptop was restarted I couldn't do anythin. Neither on the external screen. To mention that I could see something on the laptop's screen but just vaguely letters. So I approached to the screen and read that something was corrupted or missing. I took out the hard drive and is working properly as an external one. My question now is What was exactly happened? What can I do now to work on my laptop again. (I am not asking about the screen). If I format the hard drive and put it back in the laptop, is it going to make any difference? Thank you Last edited by Alan1ar1s; 05-04-2008 at 07:54 PM. |
