Default speedfan

is speedfan reliable? i'm asking because it's registering my one HD at 49c and the other at 253c.

neither feel remotely hot, each seem slightly warm to the touch.

all progs i've tried read 253c. somethings gotta be wrong with the sensor inside... i'm pretty sure at 487f my HD would melt.

either way i should prob get this fixed huh?
