Default files doing something strange

i have some songs from one album that in the massive folder of music i have continuously get refreshed as being modified. i sort mine by date modified so i can listen to the most recent ones i put on my computer, but am confused why these get "modified" without me actually even listening to them. any ideas?

Must be your media player is updating them with album art or album info or something. Try disabling all auto features in media player. Or you could try booting into safe mode w/o internet connections and see if the time modified changes. If it does then you are most likely looking at a virus.

There is a program to do so but you should not use it without professional help. Go to the security section and make a new thread and ask "why files keep getting modified" or something to that extent. You might have a virus if files keep getting modified. So dont panic but head over to the security section. They will probably ask for a hijackthis log, so post one if you know what it is. If not, they will tell you what to do. They are very good at what they do.

Wow im blind! You are in security section! Then make a new thread and title it "possible virus?" or something like that. That shall grab the pro's attention and they shall help you.
