Default Which CPU would you recommend for gaming + multitasking?

Hey all, upon my move to Intel this summer, I would like to know, which CPU would be better for Gaming and Multitasking. I basically do everything on here, from Video editing, to surfing the net, to playing demanding games. The CPUs I am considering are in the poll above.

My question is, which one would be best, and why. Just for you all wondering, I am planning on putting it on either

This ASUS P5E LGA775 X38 Motherboard or this DFI Lanparty X48 motherboard.

Q6700 is better, but the performance gain doesn't really justify the price raise.

the q9300 is the best its also the only one out of those that is 45nm you can get some mad overclocking on those 45nm chips i herd of a 2.5ghz being overclocked to over 4 i think!plus at a pretty good price about 290 on newegg

Q6600, price is sweet right now and it has more L2 cache.

So? It's not bad at all for overclocking and they still run cool.

the difference between 45 nm and 65nm is feck all compared to the price difference between the 2.

the q6600 kills the other's when its bang for buck.
