Default XP reinstall

I thought it was time to put a clean install of xp on my old game machine. To clean it u a little. I put the cd in it started its rutine. it loaded all the files on the load screen no problems. It said restart in 15 sec I let it restet itself. XP loading bar is going left to right then it goes to a blue screen saying window stopped because of error or virus please restart. It does it everytime I try to install XP. Oh I'm installing it on a raid 0, Motherboard is a ASUS P4S800 DX. The drives were quick nfts formatted before I started. Need a little help here.
