Default Online buying....bad delivery prices?

Hey guys is it me or is the delivery costs on some items just getting rediculas?

look at this from Scan.co.uk

A IDE cable priced at £2.30...and carriage costs are £5.95 taking the price of a IDE cable to nearly £10

i might aswell just go to pc world and get one from there lol,but seriusly i thought internet shopping was soppose to be cheaper but it seems not anymore

what you think?
