Angry limited connectivity

since yesterday am getting lmited connectivity.
one of my colleagues got it, so i went over brought my laptop to test, and my lappy got the same, though it was the cable, so i re-crimped it,both sides, from the switch and the one that connects in the pc and even replaced cables.

Now going back to my place, plug my lappy to the network, now it's my turn to get it.. it's really driving my nuts, i've downloaded a few fix from online, not to mention a reg fix too. but, still limited, any ideas ?

Remember, in tech support the most common fix is to reboot everything

You would be surprised by how many house calls I,ve made 45 bucks on with lost connections by walking in unpluging and repluging their modem. They learn fast

are all of your network settings correct, if for some reason you needed to be running static ip's on your network and they got removed that would cause you to get a "limited or no connectivity" error.
