Default virgin media speed upgrade

ive got virgin media and they've upgraded all there X customers on 4mb to 10mb but when i do a speed test on a website it says less than 6mb and i know that it wikll never be 10mb because of the traffic on the internet and all that so does anyone know why im not getting a higher speed???

mate when they say you will get or have recieved a free speed upgrade just ignore it.

im on their slowest connection (2mb) and ive had 2 letetrs in the past saying ive recieved a free speed upgrade yet when i test my results from when i first had the internet put in its no diffrent.

just a load of crap....you dont get anything for nothing off Virgin media.
