Hey, it is not a bad game, it just doesn't deserve a 10 IMO. I just think it was a bit over hyped, but then again I knew it was going to be over hyped so I guess I shouldn't be shocked.

As for you view on standards. When you review something as a professional, I think it is your obligation to maintain by a set of standards to your readers. They are relying on you for the facts, unbiased opinions, and of course your opinions.

I would not give GTA 4 a 10 out of 10. I would say 8.5 out of 10, which is still a damn high score and a great game, just not anywhere quite near perfect. I'd accept a 9 as well, but 10, I just disagree.

I use to have so much fun playing burnout on the ps2! Heck I still do! LOL

I am no professional reviewer at all but, yes I think my race sim standards are high. But, we should set high standards now days, otherwise we would still be playing CRAP games! The only reason companies are making better games is to please us so they make their money! Therefor if we set our standards higher then they will make a better game and make all their freaking money! I know, real technical, right? JK

Of course, I simply think the 1-10 review standard isn't, shouldn't and cannot be absolutely static. Your appraisal of 8.5-9.0/10 might be my appraisal of 10, The only way for a reader to be able to tell is to actually read the review, far more important that the number on top of the review IMO.

Seeing as we don't all have the same Idea of a 10, why should the reviewers? Getting them to accept the standard of a 10 as being flawless seems futile, they've already given their opinion towards perfection (doesn't exist).

Thats good!! We want to hear good news!

Please: Nobody ruine (if thats how you spell it) it for the people who have not played it and wanna wait for pc version.

Hopefully the pc version has more options just like NFS: Pro street and the ps2 and pc! The PC version deserves the most!!

GTAIV rocks. I'd give it a 9.9. All the little flaws compared to how awesome this game is barely matters. And who even cares about online multiplayer? I played this game for 14 hrs straight when I picked up the controller.

This game is awesome. I have played for about 25 hours combined and I am not planning on slowing down.

I love it, and the multiplayer is quite fun too.
