Exclamation Random shutdowns, and thats only if it even starts up??

Hi, st off here are my specs..

AMD phenom 9850. oc,d to 11000
4gb corsair
2x zotac 8600GTS 512mb
asus m2n32 ws pro
600w colours it psu

My computer hardly ever starts up. the pc comes on with all the leds and fans.. but the screen stays blank.. with the orange light flashing. the screen definatly works as i can use it with other computers..

also, if by chance the computer does start, it sometimes randomly shuts down, this can be either streight away as i turn it on, at random points through startup. or even when the computers been running fine for hours..

this problem has been going for about 1 month now. it used to not be bad, but now its alot more frequent.

so far ive tried different sticks of ram seperatly.. but nothing much happens.. the graphics cards seperatly but also not much happens.. im thinking towards the problem as the psu or mobo, but really i have no idea

If anyone has any idea of what could be going on, please reply..

Thanks for looking =]
James.

I am guessing you may have a motherboard issue. Only way I know to fix motherboard issues is to replace the component. Anyone else have any troubleshooting ideas?

I was just thinking. Have you tried to make sure there are no loose plugs in your system? Make sure you ground yourself on the back of your computer case before touching any of your system components.
