Default Xp Sp3

I just went to windows update and noticed that SP3 can be loaded from there and the size of it is 66.9MB. Is it safe to d/l this without issues?

Yes!! The automatic update service packs are ok even though they are a fraction of the size of the online one. The reason is simple. The auto update one is specified for your pc (as in bit type) and the ones online are universal! The same thing is installed on both of them so all is good. Dont worry

Got it on all of mine now without any problem, but thats just, so far. They could all just get demon possessed and set on fire in 30 minutes.

I've installed it on about 6 different machines here and not one problem. I read somewhere that there will be a 10% performance gain?

What else is new in SP3?

Prob just security updates and compatibility. Thats basically what all service packs do.
