Default Computer Screen Resolution Size

Can anyone answer these questions please?

1> If I use a high resolution size for my desktop would that use up more memory?
2> If I play a game with high resolution vs. low resolution does the higher resolution use more memory and will it cause the video card to overheat easier?

Thanks!

Oh another thing... about refresh rate. Does high refresh rate cause the video card to overheat too while gaming? or just the monitor... and does the color quality play a role in overheating and ram usage?

Are you noticing an over heating problem?

Check your temps.
Use a program such as Speed Fan or PC Wizard

Don't use Speed Fan. It's not very accurate. Try Everest, CoreTemp, or SmartGuardian.
