There ya go. Just don't plug a SATA and 4pin molex in at the same time. Bad things will happen.

ive seen computers that have been running fine with both plugged in for months, but im pretty sure western digital recommends not plugging them both in

I'm sorry that was my mistake. I meant to refer to the power connections and not the data connections like I did earlier. I meant that the HDD supports both Molex and SATA power connections. Not IDE and SATA data connections.

Oscar, awhile ago I tested it out for about a week and nothing bad happened to anything.
