Question Gateway GT5028 Desktop Help

I have a Gateway GT5028 Desktop Computer. When you power it on, I get no video. The power light comes on & system fan comes on. When I bought it, I had to add my own ram & hard drive. I have tried 3 different sticks of ram and no help. Is there anything I can do? Its n AMD Dual Core 3800+ 2.0ghz. I would really like to get this computer up & running. Post your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Bad onboard video? Try another video card.

Has the machine ever worked? It almost sounds like a bad motherboard or power supply. I'd try another power supply if you have one handy. If the machine hasn't ever been working, make sure everything's tight. You never know if the processor had been replaced and is loose or something like that.
