Default adopters??

iv been wrapping my brains around thinking aobut how to get my laptop to read my Maudio ProjectMix I/O.

i stupidly seen a good deal for the ADVENT 9415, it has 2gb ram and 120HDD. the problem is it only has 4 USB ports, vga out, SD card reader, audio in and out, CD drive, LAN port, and power supply.

can i get an adopter that will read a firewire..wire through usb or something?

im all out of ideas and i gota make do with what i have

I know of no USB to fireware converters. Even if there were any, that'd kill its performance. However, there are firewire PC-Cards or express cards.
