Default Video card upgrade

I'm thinking about upgrading my video card from the 7600gt to a 8800gt, I don't play many game on my desktop, and the ones I do play aren't that grueling, but I use Photoshop quite a lot and do a fair amount of video editing. You guys think the upgrade would be worth it or is the card I have good enough for what I do? Thanks for any input.

Photo and video editing rely more on the CPU than the GPU.. and the 7600gt should be great at either task. The small increase in functionality might not be worth the $200-+.

I say nay unless you're doing something to take advantage of the 8800gt's graphical muscle.

Thanks for the input, I figured it would't make much of a difference, but I thought I'd check with you guys since you always know a lot more than me

Would you recomend a new CPU? I know my MB can go up to a quad core.

The only thing that would be worth finding something with a little more of an upgrade would be a similar graphics card chip with 512MB or more RAM on board to help with the video editing more... For instance a 7600GT or better with 512MB would be a better investment of the more money than a higher chip like the 8800GT.
