Default Quicktime Garbled up my movie

Why does QuickTime garble up when rendering a movie in full screen mode, and How can I alleviate this problem?

If I play the movie in maximized mode, the rendering is fine, but I don't want to look at the rest of my ugly desktop while watching movie...

I suggest a skinning program so that your desktop wont look so ugly... I'm J/K .

What movie format are you trying to watch in full screen? also what software version? For DVDs I'd suggest a nice app like Power DVD as it just plain works and does it well. I actually use power DVD for all movie formats I've come across and it's work perfectly without the worry for installing plug-ins and such.

Edit:

I'd also suggest checking to make sure your using the most current driver version for your videocard and might as well upgrade direct X if you have not done so already.

And er... How does one view a .mov file with PowerDVD 5.xxxx, all it does it read from disc...

Default Nevermind...

Nevermind, I guess the crap version of PowerDVD that came with Dell don't allow you to load files... Just installed the deluxe version... and... OMG... PowerDVD refuses to load the .mov file... Any idea where I can find a reliable .mov plugin for PowerDVD 5.xxx deluxe?
