Default IDE->USB adapters

So as some of you know, I might be getting an Eee PC... which come with practically no storage space (by today's standards) and no optical drive. So, I was wondering if there are any "universal" IDE-USB adapters that would let me plug an internal HDD/DVD to my possible future Eee's USB port. And if there are, where could I find them (must ship to Australia)...

get an external hard drive case... that is the only way to do it

have a look at MSY and go there - they are really cheap... what state are you in?

VIC...
I could pick up an external HD case from megapc Australia, though, the shop's around 15 minute drive away. The thing is, I'd rather have one that would work for optical drives as well... and I'm not sure if they've got those things (if they even exist).

if you go to newegg, in the external enclosures>5.25"
there are a few options, i don't know what you'd be willing to spend, or shipping since your in australia, but there are optical cases out there if you don't mind a fan noise etc
