my brother has a 9800gx2 on his mobo and it only registers 526 mb of video, not the 1gb he has it in a regular pci-e slot, he doesnt have a 2.0 slot, does it need A 2.0 slot to use the entire 1gb, or does it only need a pci-e x16 slot?
