Default Speaker problems

I just got my internet working and I was pretty pissed to find out that my speakers wouldn't play any music or sounds.

It worked 2 hours before connected my internet , but now it won't work.

The speakers are fine because they played my mp3 songs when I attached it to my Ipod, There most be something I can do to fix this right?

I need help.

thanks to the person who would help me with this problem

Check in Device manager and see if your device is well installed. Sometimes, this can happen

I was just thinking about maybe Start > Control Panel > Sounds > Sounds and Audio Devices > Device Volume.
