little pet peeve of mine.....
It is not MAC, it is Mac. A MAC refers to Media Access Control address, and Mac refers to Macintosh. Sorry to be picky, but it bugs me; in the same way that the word irregardless does as well. I try not to correct people but sometimes I just have to do it. It is one of my pet peeves, and every now and then I have to indulge it. I suggest you buy a Mac if you really want to run OS X, or look into Linux. While the OS X x86 project does in fact work, it doesn't work nearly as good as native OS X on an actual Mac. |

I'd recommend that you look into Ubuntulinux http://www.ubuntu.com/
I don't think you'll be disappointed... I use it as my main OS and I really like it. I'm guessing that if you're willing to switch to OS X you would be willing to switch to Ubuntu. You won't be disappointed with the desktop effects either... it's really cool. The only thing I don't like is the graphics (icons wallpaper and the theme), but that can be changed VERY easily so it's not a big deal.
