Default Good free antivirus??

Looking for one that's not as heavy as avast, just takes so many resources, didn't know if anyone knew of any good free anti virus programs out there..

When I go to http://www.grisoft.com/ww.download I only see trial versions.. Am I over looking something?

Avast is heavy? I dont think so. I believe norton is the worst
